Anti-Ragging

“Ragging leads to tears, shame, terror and sometimes death”

As per the notification in regard to prevention and prohibition of ragging in the University, as per the AICTE notification dated 1st July, 2009 (F.No.37-3/Legal/AICTE/2009) and Letter No. F.1-15/2009 (ARC) pt-III dt: 29th April, 2014, the committee has been constituted to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging including any conduct by any student or students whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student.

You don’t have to accept ragging in any form. Do not compromise with your dignity and self respect. You must report incidents of ragging with yourself and others. Contact the anti ragging committee/ anti ragging squads. Your complaints can be oral or written and would be treated by the authorities in strict confidence.
