One day workshop held in Dasmesh College of Nursing on Basic Life Support under Indian Academy of Pediatrics on 19/09/2024. This workshop organizes under the guidance of Director Dr. Gursevak Singh, Joint Director S. Swaranjit Singh Gill and Principal Mrs. Bhupinder Kaur. Chief Guest was Dr. Shashi Kant Dhir HOD of pediatric department in GGS Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot. Course director was Professor Dr. Manmeet Kaur Sodhi, HOD of pediatric department in Government Medical College and Hospital, Amritsar. Course coordinator Associate professor Mrs. Seema Rai, Incharge of pediatric unit- 3 in GGS Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot. Course instructor was Professor DR. Gurpreet Singh Chabra, pediatric department SGRD, Amritsar and Assistant Professor Dr. Anmol, pediatric department GGS Medical college and Hospital, Faridkot. Organizers of workshop was Associate professor Mrs. Gurkiran Pediatric Department and Professor Mrs. Rajwinder kaur Gill, Community Department of Dasmesh college of Nursing, Faridkot. Total 70 participants were involved in workshop including M.sc, B.sc facuty and students. Details of the Basic life support was share by Dr. Manmeet kaur Sodhi and Dr. Seema Rai to the gathering. Hand on Hand practice of CPR was done by participants on manikins under the Guidance of instructors and test  and skill assessment was held at the end of workshop. Whole program of workshop was completed successfully.
