A special workshop was organized at Dashmesh College of Nursing, Nakodar, to enhance the practical skills and clinical knowledge of nursing students. During the session, students practiced various medical procedures under the guidance of experienced faculty members and medical professionals.<\/p>

The workshop included hands-on demonstrations related to nursing care, patient handling, emergency procedures, and use of medical equipment. Faculty members encouraged students to actively participate and improve their practical competence. Symposium on Essential Newborn care held in Dasmesh College of Nursing, Faridkot in collaboration with SOMI (Punjab Chapter) on 15\/10\/ 2025. This symposium organizes under the guidance of Director Dr. Gursevak Singh, Joint Director S. Swaranjit singh Gill, Principal Prof. Mrs. Bhupinder Kaur and Vice-Principal Prof. Narendra Kumar sumeriya. Guest speakers were Dr. Amanpreet sethi (Asso. Prof Pediatrics) and Dr. Nidhi Sagar(Prof cum vice principal CON DMCH ludhiana) and Mrs Thresia Haldane President (SOMI) Delhi Chapter executive . Other speakers were Principal professor Bhupinder Kaur, Mrs. Gagandeep kaur (Asst Prof. UCON), Mrs. Tejwinderpal kaur(UCON).Organizers of workshop was Prof. Rajwinder kaur and Asst Prof. Ramandeep kaur OBG department DCON. Total 150 participants were involved in the conference. Hand on Hand practice and skill assessment was held at the end of the conference.
