Dasmesh College of Pharmacy, Faridkot organized an Orientation Program 2026-27 from 17^th to 22^nd August 2026, welcoming the new batches of B.Pharm, D.Pharm, and Pharm.D students. Dr. Sukhpreet Kaur (Principal, DCOP), Dr. Gursewak Singh (Director, DCOP), S. Swarnjit Singh Gill (Joint Director, DCOP), and Mr. Gursahib Singh Brar (HOD) extended a warm welcome to the students through inspiring speeches, offering guidance for the years ahead and acquainting them with the college’s curriculum, goals, and objectives. The program also featured eminent guest speakers who motivated and enlightened the students: Dr. Avinderpal Singh (Volunteer, NGO Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle) delivered a motivational address; Mr. Apurav Devgan (Principal, Dasmesh Public School, Faridkot), an accomplished educator, author, and motivational speaker, shared valuable insights; Mr. Abhishek Narula (Assistant Professor and Academic Administrator, Department of Pharmaceutics, PCTE Group of Institutes, Ludhiana) guided students on the latest developments and future prospects of the pharmacy profession; and Dr. Mamta Bahetra (Faculty of Psychiatry, GGS Medical College, Faridkot) conducted an enlightening guest lecture on mental health awareness and suicide prevention. The week-long program also included engaging extracurricular activities such as volleyball and badminton matches, a power dressing and high-impact presentation session, and a Basic Life Support (BLS) training conducted by Dasmesh College of Nursing, Faridkot — making the orientation a holistic and memorable experience for the incoming students.
