NATIONAL IAOMR UG CONFERENCE 2026
The Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology at Dasmesh Institute of Research and Dental Sciences (DIRDS), Faridkot, Punjab, successfully organized the National IAOMR UG Conference 2026 on 11 April 2026 under the theme “Smart Dentistry for a Digital Future.” Conducted in collaboration with the Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology (IAOMR) and the Dasmesh Academy of Continuing Dental Education, the conference brought together 541 delegates from multiple states for a day of academic excellence and professional learning.
The event featured keynote lectures by renowned experts, scientific paper and poster presentations and engaging discussions on advancements in Oral Medicine and Radiology. The inaugural ceremony included the release of the conference e-souvenir and DIRDS Times magazine, while the valedictory session recognized outstanding presentations with awards and certificates. The conference concluded successfully, fostering knowledge exchange, innovation and inspiration among undergraduate, postgraduate students and faculty members.
National IAOMR convention on April 11, 2026
The Dept of Oral medicine and Radiology at Dasmesh Institute of Research and Dental Sciences Faridkot organized National IAOMR UG Convention 2026 on 11th April 2026 at Capt Dr Puran Singh Auditorioum on theme “ Smart Dentistry For Digital Future” under the aegis of Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology and Dasmesh Academy of Continuing Dental Education. In this convention the Director Sir Senior Vice President SSBPSES Dr Gursevak Singh, Joint Director Sir Treasurer SSBPSES S Swaranjit Singh Gill, executive Member SSBPSES S Gurmit Singh Dhillon , Dr Avinash Tejasvi ML Honorary General Secretary IAOMR, Dr Dipti Bhatnagar Joint Secretary IAOMR Principal sir Dr MK Sunil, Organising Chairman Dr Basavraj T Bhagwati , Registrar Dr Tarun Kumar, Dean Academics Dr Ramandeep Singh Brar, Organising secretary Dr Preeti Dhir, Treasurer Dr Mandeep Kaur and other members of organising committee graced the inauguration function.
Dr Mk Sunil Principal delivered the welcome address to Guest Speaker, Management and student delegates. The E- souvenier and DIRDS TIMES was released by our management and other dignitaries. The E- souvenier done by our scientific committee chairman Dr Nitin Khullar Professor and Head Dept of Periodontics. The college magazine DIRDS TIMES was designed by Dr Sudhir Munjal Professor and Head, Dept of Orthodontics . The conference was conducted in hybtrid mode. The convention was graced by various dignitaries from various dental colleges.
The keynote speakers of the convention was Dr Upasana Sethi Ahuja form IDST Modinagar who enlighten the student with the knowledge of Orofacial Pain Management. Dr Aishwarya Sharma from Guru Nanak Dev Dental College and Research Institute, Sunam gave her thoughts on the role of medicine in General Practice and Dr Anjali Nayak from Surendra Dental College and Research Institute, Sri Ganganagar highlights on the topic Unlocking Dentistry’s Future: Why Oral Radiology Is Your superpower.
Around 541delegates registered online as well as offline from the various institutes of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, UttarPradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan have attended the conference. In various scientific sessions there was around 135 offline paper, 78 offline poster, 43 online paper and 47 online posters presentations by various undergraduates and postgraduates students delegates from the various dental colleges, The scientific sessions were chaired by various chairperson and the certificates of Participation were given to the participants.
The valedictory function was graced by Director Sir Senior Vice President SSBPSES Dr Gursevak Singh, Joint Director Sir Treasurer SSBPSES S Swaranjit Singh Gill, executive Member SSBPSES S Gurmit Singh Dhillon , Dr Avinash Tejasvi ML Honorary General Secretary IAOMR, Principal sir Dr MK Sunil, Organising Chairman Dr Basavraj T Bhagwati Organizing secretary Dr Preeti Dhir and Treasurer Dr Mandeep Kaur from 4pm onwards. The prizes were distributed to the various categories such as best paper and best poster The Certificates of appreciation and award of honour was given to the various member of organizing committee.
The IAOMR UG convention was finally concluded with extremely informative, interactive academic discussions and exchanges among various undergraduates, postgraduates and faculty from the various dental colleges leading to the summation of the convention.
