BRIEF BIODATA

Graduated from PMNM Dental College, Bagalkot, Karnataka.
He accomplished his Master’s degree in Oral Medicine & Radiology from Bapuji Dental College, Davangere.

Currently working as Principal and Senior Professor at Dasmesh Institute of Research and Dental Sciences, Faridkot, Punjab.

He holds memberships of IDA, IAOMR, IAFO, INPAFO, FICD, and PFA.

He has around 28 years of teaching experience and has various publications in both National and International indexed journals.

He has served as Executive Member, Vice President, and Treasurer of the Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology, and also as Executive Member and Vice President in INPAFO.

He is a recognized PhD guide and Review Board Member in various National and International indexed journals. Presently, he is working as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Indopacific Academy of Forensic Odontology.

His areas of interest include Advances in Imaging and Forensic Odontology, and he has delivered many guest lectures and conducted several workshops at National and International conferences.

We emphasize on research-based education, active student participation in conferences and deep-rooted community engagement, ensuring our graduates are both technically proficient and socially conscious. Since its establishment in 1992, DIRDS has grown into a premier institution, recognized for its academic distinction, exceptional clinical training, and unwavering commitment to research and innovation.

Affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences and recognized by the Dental Council of India, DIRDS admits 100 students annually to its BDS program and offers 18 postgraduate seats across seven different specialties in MDS program: Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontology, Oral Medicine & Radiology and Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics.

Our campus boasts ultra-modern infrastructure, featuring fully equipped clinical departments, smart classrooms, digital radiology and a serene learning environment. Welcome to the Dasmesh Institute of Research & Dental Sciences, Faridkot ; one of the pioneer dental institutions in Punjab in voluntary sector & servicing since 1992. The institute offers B.D.S. course to undergraduate population of approximately 400 students. The course is recognized by the Government of India, Dental Council of India & affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. We also provide post graduate research opportunities in the supers pecialities like; Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery,pediatric dentistry, Conservative Dentistry, Prosthodontics & Crown-Bridge work, Periodontology, Oral Medicine & Radiology andorthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics for dental graduates.
