National Workshop on Mandibular Pathology
A lecture cum workshop on ” Usefulness of Intellectual Property and Patents for Dental Doctors and Surgeons” was organized by the Dept of Periodontology on 30th May 2023. Dr. Parikshit Bansal, PhD, LLB and Mrs. Kompal Bansal of Bansal IP Associates, Chandigarh were the guest speakers.

Department of Periodontology & Implantology secured the FIRST PRIZE IN DEBATE COMPETITION held on 15.03.23 during the MDS Student Teacher Exchange Program at Govt. Dental College & Hospital, Patiala.
International Women’s Day 2023 was celebrated at Dasmesh Institute of Research and Dental Sciences Faridkot, Punjab. Dr Ruhee Dugg Deputy commissioner was the chief guest of the event and graced the occasion by delivering the lecture on ‘How to crack IAS examination’ to all the dental students..
25th National Workshop on Craniofacial -Maxillofacial Surgery under the aegis of Indian Academy of Maxillofacial Surgery was organized by Jabalpur Hospital and Research Centre Hitkarini Dental College with Scientific endorsement by International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons at Jabalpur from 2nd March to 5th March.
33rd annual conference of Indian society for dental research was held at New Delhi from 17th to 19th Feb, 2023. Dr Asmita Sharma Post graduate Dept of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery secured 2 nd position for post graduate e poster presentation. Congratulations Dr Asmita !

International Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Day (13th Feb,2023) was celebrated at Dasmesh Institute of Research & Dental Sciences, Faridkot by carrying out a sensitization drive about Road Traffic Accidents amongst the students (10+1, 10+2) of Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Faridkot about the various preventive measures!
