BACHELOR OF DENTAL SURGERY PROGRAMME
GENERAL INFORMATION
The course of study and examinations are governed by the regulations of BFUHS and DCI.
The College offers Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), a Five Years program that comprises of 100 seats and is duly recognized by Dental council of India (DCI), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India and Govt. of Punjab, and affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Punjab. BDS degree program includes lectures & seminars in dental and medical subjects, preclinical labs, practicals, hospital wards and dental clinics with an additional one year compilsory company rotatary internship.
The Classes for the failed/detained students start immediately after the declaration of the results. Attendance in these Classes is compulsory. All failed/detained students are required to for class tests/ central tests as well as send up examinations to be eligible to appear in the next university examinations.
Inter- Dental College migration is not permitted, except under extraordinary circumstances as per Regulations of Dental Council of India/BFUHS.
Apart from notified tuition fee structure for different categories, additional charges such as Eligibility Fee, Registration Fee, Administrative Expenses, Examination Fee etc. as required by the University from time to time shall be deposited by the students.
The rules and regulations, including fees, may be revised as and when required and the revised rules and regulations /fee will be applicable irrespective of conditions mentioned in the prospectus
ADMISSION POLICY

The seats will be filled by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot by conducting centralized counselling for admission as per Punjab Govt. Notification revised and updated time to time.

- 10th certificate (for Date of Birth) along with DMC.
- Qualifying Examination Details Marks Card (10+1)
- Qualifying Examination Detail Marks Card (10+2)
- Migration certificate (from the last attended board).
- Character Certificate from last attended school.
- Punjab State Domicile Certificate/Resident Proof.
- SC/ST/BC (reserve category certificate)
- adhar card
- An affidavit by student not including in ragging
- An affidavit by Parent that there ward will not including in ragging
- Security bond
- An affidavit for not availing any benifits
- NEET Admit Card and NEET Result Card
- Gap Year Affidavit (if any)
- Undertaking for rules and regulations of institute
- Passport size 6 photographs .
- Eligibility Certificate (in case of NRI candidate)
- Affidavit of undertaking by candidate and parents as prescribed by DCI.
- Undertaking from the student regarding not been disqualified by any Board/University.
- Previous Medical record if any & signed undertaking by student & parent that nothing is concealed. (In case of any chronic problem, Parents must hand over photocopy of relevant documents & advice in writing any precautions/first aid to be rendered/any other specification.
- 10+2 regular student certificate from the Principal of the school where last studied.
- Declaration of Students/Parents/Guardian.
