Clinical samples are investigated for viral markers of HBV, HCV, HIV, VDRL, Widal.
Department has developed special facility for COVID 19 testing. Rapid Antigen Test is done, samples are sent to state laboratory for RT PCR.
Practical training is provided to students for microscopy, preparation & use of different types of culture media used in microbiology
