ORTHODONTICS & DENTOFACIAL ORTHOPAEDICS

Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics was established in  college in the year of 2000 and the MDS course started in the year of 2012 with an annual intake of 3 students. After its 19-year voyage of trials and errors, the department today stands proud featuring state-of-the-art facilities, sophisticated equipment and high quality materials in a refined operational ambience, coupled with streamlined administration all making it one of a kind.

Phenomenal growth of the department today features 25 fully automated dental chairs, an exclusive sterilization corner for effective infection control, a material store ensuring uninterrupted supply of dental and orthodontic materials all functioning in a spacious floor with just one purpose: quality patient care.

Branch of the Orthodontics is that specific area of dental practice that has as its responsibility for the study and supervision of the growth and development of the dentition and its related anatomical structures from birth to dental maturity, including all preventive and corrective procedures of dental irregularities requiring the repositioning of teeth by functional or mechanical means to establish normal occlusion and pleasing facial contour.
